Mark your calendars for Monday 19th August 2024, as the Gloucestershire Energy from Waste Facility is hosting a FREE scavenger hunt for children aged 5-12 and their accompanying adults. This exciting event is a fantastic opportunity to explore, learn, and enjoy the great outdoors!

Cost: Free (donations for Vale Wildlife Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre)
Refreshments: Free refreshments provided (drinks only)*
Materials: All scavenger hunt materials will be provided
Dress Code: Wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring sun cream if it’s hot
At the Gloucestershire Energy from Waste Facility, we believe in the importance of biodiversity and educating the next generation about our environment. This scavenger hunt is designed not only to be fun but also to teach children about the diverse plant and animal life in our local area. By fostering an early appreciation for nature, we hope to inspire young minds to care for and protect our environment for years to come.
While there is no charge to attend the workshop, we will be collecting donations for our chosen charity of the year, Vale Wildlife Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre. This wonderful organisation treats over 7,500 wildlife casualties every year, and we are proud to contribute to their mission. Your donations, though not obligatory, will be greatly appreciated.
