Animation of proposed facility

This is an animated fly-through of the Energy-from-Waste facility being built Javelin Park, Haresfield close to Junction 12 of the M5.

The facility will provide an alternative to landfill, generating heat and electricity from Gloucestershire’s left over household waste once as much as possible has been recycled or composted.

The facility features:

  • An Education/Visitor Centre and outdoor wildlife area available for community use
  • Combustion and gas cleaning technology that will protect the environment and human health
  • On-site recycling of the bottom ash into a construction aggregate
